DeveloperExpo is a tool for Symbian OS based smart phones that allows displaying the phone's screen on a computer screen in real-time. In addition the phone can be controlled from the computer. The connection between the phone and computer can be established via Bluetooth, USB cable or WLAN. The phone will send a copy of its display to the computer while the computer will send key and mouse events to the phone.

The application consists of two parts, one part installed on the computer and one part installed on the phone.

DeveloperExpo also includes the following features:

File transfer between computer and phone

Real-time debug logging

Symbian Panic tracing
Installation
DeveloperExpo consists of two applications, one on the computer and one on the phone. Please follow the steps below:

Clicking on the folder icon displayed in the middle of the DeveloperExpo window (after starting the DeveloperExpo application) will also reveal the location of the installation files. Depending on your phone model, install one of the following packages in the usual way. For details please refer to the user's manual of your phone.

Note that reconnection attempts will be automatically be resumed also after a reboot (and even if the Connect UI is not visible). Set to "Disabled" by default.

PIN for disconnect
Define a PIN code that will be asked before an active connection can be disconnected from the user interface. Set to "Disabled" by default.
